“Already heard and seen this before – and better”, is what I think most of the time being into hardcore for half of my life. The show off and the local leaders playing it too cool while enforcing the picking order don’t help.
No pretension, just playing and being plain hardcore seem to me even rarer gems today than back in the days. Burn My Bridges and Things We Say from Seoul are two of them. They made me smile until my cheeks hurt two weeks ago at Townhall Records Summer Fest.
